Winshill Allotments is a large secure site comprising approximately 100 plots. These plots are made up of small, half and full plots and a number of raised beds designed to suit all needs and capabilities. The cost of a plot is as follows. Prices correct for 2024.
Small Plot/
2 x Raised Beds - £20.50 per year
Half Plot - £25 per year
Full Plot - £32.50 per year
These prices include the 2024 rental of the plot plus a service charge which covers water, electricity, toilet block facilities, National Society of Allotments membership subscription and on site insurance.
There is also a returnable key deposit to be paid of £20 when you first rent a plot.
There are so many benefits to owning an allotment plot. You will meet some new people, learn lots of new things, grow your own healthy fruit and veg (organic if you wish) and gets lots of fresh air and exercise, it’s certainly cheaper than gym membership that’s for sure.
